Really hand-held The PSA Series II is sufficiently little and light-weight to fit easily into the hand - unlike many other so-called handheld spectrum analyzers. A detachable screen protector and sun-shield combines with rubberised buffers top and bottom to improve its use in the field. High resolution colour display The 4.3" TFT display provides a wealth of in-depth info. Colour is used to plainly compare multiple traces, markers and limitation lines. The touch-screen utilizes a 3 row hierarchical menu system to supply fast and instinctive control of the numerous functions. Battery operation of more than 8 hours The PSA Series II operates from a Li-ion rechargeable battery that can supply more than eight hours of constant operation. If turned off to conserve power, it returns to normal operation within 2 seconds of switch-on with all information retained. It can also be set to change off instantly after a set time from the last action. For constant bench top operation it can be powered from its A/C adaptor which also recharges the batteries in less than 3 hours. Unrestricted information storage With nearly 2GB of internal memory, the PSA Series II can save thousands of waveforms, instrument set-ups, or complete screen images. With alternative U01 set up, it can also log 10s of thousands of outcomes and make use of payment tables and limitation patterns.
